(I posted this before, but blogger had a hitch and deleted it and a few other posts, so I'm reposting them).Aldi is coming to Huntsville and Madison! An Aldi is going in at the corner of Sparkman and University in Huntsville and at 7676 U.S. 72 in Madison (across the street from Kohl's). They are hoping to open sometime in August.
Aldi does not take coupons and the majority of their items are store brand. I know some people who don't want to mess with coupons who shop exclusively here and feed their families (of 5-7) for $200-$250 a month. They should have great milk, produce and meat prices!
They do have weekly ads, so if there is enough interest, I can do the matchups each week. (I'm looking at the Decatur ad now...I'm amazed at the produce prices! Cucumbers are $0.25 each, Mushrooms are $0.69 for 8 oz., Tomatoes are $0.99/10 oz. and 3 multi-colored Bell Peppers are $1.49!)
