The Longhorn World Championship Rodeo is this weekend at the VBC. You can watch the rodeo on Friday at 8:00 and Saturday at 2:00 or 8:00 pm.
If you come 45 minutes early you can attend the pre-show and get down on the dirt and meet the cowboys and see the animals up close.
The first 500 kids ages 12 and under at the Saturday 8:00 event get free hats.
Tickets are $12-$23 for adults and $8-$23 for kids, seniors and military (the discounted kids, etc. is only available for the Saturday 2:00 event) + fees when you purchase them in advance. I'm not sure how much tickets cost at the door.
I hate they're doing the free hats on Saturday night--my son's bedtime is eight :(
